Blue-Purple Class
Students in the Blue Level will begin to put to use the strength they have built up so far. For vault they will begin to work on run and stretch jump as well as a dive roll onto an elevated mat and a handstand flatback. On beam they will continue working their leaps and jumps but begin to be introduced to mounts and dismounts. On bars they will continue to work towards proper form for all their bar skills. As for floor they will begin to learn advanced tumbling skills.
Students in the Purple Level will begin to perfect their skills and add difficulty to their execution of skills. They will begin to focus on their presentation and delivery of skills and creating routines. Once Blue/Purple skills have been mastered, athletes interested in competitive gymnastics may be invited or may request an evaluation to join either the Level 2/3 JO or Xcel Competitive Teams.
