Gymnastics Facility and Equipment
About Our Main Facility
Established in 1993, Gym Magic Kids has been a cornerstone for youth development in Las Cruces. In August 2004, we moved to our state-of-the-art multisport facility, designed to accommodate a wide range of programs for children of all ages. Our commitment to excellence led to a significant expansion in January 2006, adding a second floor to better serve our growing community.
First Floor
The first floor is home to our main gymnastics area, offering spaces tailored for both recreational and competitive gymnastics. Adjacent to this, you'll find our indoor swimming pool, a dedicated space for swim lessons where children can develop essential water skills in a safe and controlled environment.
Second Floor
Our second floor houses the Tumble Bugs room, specifically designed for our Sweet Peas program. This engaging program is tailored for children 5 and under, fostering early development through fun, structured activities.
Additional Amenities
Our main facility also includes classrooms used for our toddler nursery and after-school program, providing enriching care and educational experiences in a nurturing environment.
Recent Updates
In January 2024, we completed a full renovation of our pool, enhancing safety and comfort for swimmers. Later that year, in November, we revamped our lobby area to create a more welcoming and modern space for families and visitors.
Gym Magic Kids continues to evolve, ensuring that every aspect of our facility supports the growth and success of the children and families we serve.
Over 11,000 total square feet dedicated to gymnastics including a private preschool gymnastics area for added safety with age and size appropriate equipment. Safety is at the top of our list with special attention given to constant improvement and continual upgrades of our equipment.

*2 Olympic-size, spring-loaded, foam-padded floors
*Quad bars for safe development of bar skills
*2 vault runways and vaulting systems
*7 balance beams at various heights
*Spring Rings with an extra safe landing area
*An in-ground trampoline with mat-covered springs
*2 pommel horses
*2 mushrooms for pommel training
*A 40 foot in-ground Tumbl Trak to teach safe tumbling
*2 sets of parallel bars
*An in-ground foam pit with a bungee/trampoline system
*A 20 foot rod floor
*2 sets of uneven bars
*An interchangeable high bar system with spotting platform
*Men’s high bar
*Women’s single rail and strap bar over an in-ground Resi-Pit
*Lots and lots of competition grade mats
*A 7 foot traverse climbing wall
*Two observation areas, one upstairs and one downstairs

Swim Department
At Gym Magic Kids, our Swim Department provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to develop confidence and essential water skills. Our facility features two heated indoor pools designed to cater to swimmers of all ages and skill levels.

Big Pool
Perfect for advanced swimmers, our large pool includes a deep end reaching 8 feet, offering ample space for skill development, lap swimming, and practice. -
Therapy Pool
Tailored for parents and young swimmers, our cozy 10,000-gallon therapy pool is ideal for children aged 6 months to 36 months. This warm and welcoming pool provides the perfect setting for parent-child bonding and introducing little ones to the water in a comfortable environment.
Our swim programs emphasize safety, technique, and fun, ensuring every swimmer feels confident and supported. Whether your child is just starting or ready to advance, our pools are equipped to meet their needs.
